The National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) will hold its annual fall Membership Meeting on Sunday, October 9, 2011, at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The association’s featured guest speakers will be Larry Flynn, President of Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., and John Rosanvallon, President and CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet.
NARA Chairman Steve Gade, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Duncan Aviation, says “With the challenging aircraft sales market we have seen over the last several years, the NARA membership is looking forward to hearing about the observations on the current business climate from the perspective of two major aircraft manufacturers. Many NARA members are inventorying dealers and brokers of Gulfstream and Falcon products and are keenly interested in observations about market performance.”
In addition to the Keynote speakers, the member meting will include open forum discussions on important industry issues including pre-owned market conditions, finance, maintenance and insurance. FBI Special Agent Brian Boyle will also give a special presentation to members highlighting the various security and anti-money laundering compliance issues now present in an aircraft transaction. The meeting will conclude with a NARA networking reception hosted in conjunction with NAFA, the National Aircraft Finance Association.
